Inter Terminal Airport transfers
You have to pay to get from the domestic to international airport by bus or train unless you have a transfer included in the price of the ticket.
It is about 4km or 50 mins walk between the terminals on busy road so this isn’t ideal.
Melbourne Airport to/from the city
It goes to/from Essendon Station which connects to the Craigieburn Train line to Melbourne City.

Bus 479 has more services but again doesn’t operate after 5pm.
Make sure you stand out as the driver often drives past unless you really stick out for the driver.
Costs $16 one way or $26 return. It takes 20 mins (subject to road conditions).
